It flies that's for sure, but you have to get it started ofcourse which didn't seem to go as smooth as he probably had hoped for last Saturday. Or maybe it had something to do with us coming uit of the Pink Flamingo's at 4.30 AM...

Polini 133, 24mm dellorto, gear kit, and polini pipe. It keeps up with px200s on the highway, and has been reliable for 1000's of kilometers so far. Cruises at around 100 and topspeed 115/120 maybe.

reed-valve or normal induction ?

I once build a 136 Malossi, longer grearing, 24mm RV, HP4-crank, HP4-flywheel and simonini down and foreward for a friend, and that was really scary fast.

Problem whas that he put it under a PK50 and got cought by the police, I believe even before he ran it in ;-)

@#69: i don't remember that, and there is no proof (btw, it was 3 am, that's when the flamingo's closes)

@josse: no reedvalve

@teddy: maybe ye can buy my kit, so i have money to buy the one posted here...

@josse: Yes those down and forward pipes are good, but too peaky for my taste. the polini banana actually produces a lot of torque so that the gear kit doesn't kill the engine, if i'm riding my GS200 in front of Jeroen i can hear him changing into third and then just catching and passing me before going into fourth. of course once i'm in fourth i can catch him again and pass him, but if there are bends or its in the city i have no chance.

I forgot to mention that it also has a Mazzuchelli race crank, its not even ported yet. Thats for next year, eh jeroen?

@PX van DS: Not compensating for anything, but i last owned a small frame in 1987/8 and i forgot how much fun they can be thats all!

john, did you build this engine or did Jeroen, in both cases I'm interested in a detailed set up for my circuit use only project, this set up seems relatively cheap

I have the pk125 engine on the shelve allready and I can get my hands on a good 2nd hand polini 133 and dellorto 24mm carb, you can email me your secrets ;-)
