Sip Race Achterveer Terugroepactie

Voor diegenen met een race achterveer van SIP:

 

 

In these shock absorbers there is a risk that a safety clip of the oil chamber and the shock absorber cover dissolves shatters into two parts due to the spring pressure in the rebound condition. This can then lead to a severe damage of the shock when re-loading.

Use of this shock absorber is set immediately. Otherwise there is a risk that accidents causing property damage and life and limb of yourself and others at risk.

All affected customers have been notified in writing.

 

 

 

You have to look at the oil compartment.. it's the tube that is surrounded by the spring.. and have one of these numbers..

112C, 207B, 303B, 304B, 304C, 305D, 305C, 306B, 306C, 308D, 311D

1. The affected series has been sold on or after June 30, 2013. 

 2. The recall affects the following SIP part numbers:

72000F (all colours), front for Vespa P80-150X/P200E/PX80-200E/Lusso /T5.

72000R (all colours), rear for Vespa 50-125/PV/ET3/125 VNB4T-TS/150 VBB2T-Super/160 GS 2°/180 SS/Rally/PX80-200/PE/Lusso/´98/MY/´11/T5.

72000P (all colours), pair for P80-150X/P200E/PX80-200E/Lusso /T5.

74000F (all colours), front for Vespa PK50-125/XS/SS/XL/XL2/Automatica.

74000R (all colours), rear for Vespa PK50-125/XS/SS/XL/XL2.

74000R (all colours), pair for Vespa PK50-125/S/SS/XL/XL2

3. The affected shocks carry the following serial numbers: 112C, 207B, 303B, 304B, 304C, 305D, 305C, 306B, 306C, 308D, 311D (sold June 30, 2013 or after), as seen in photo here.

1. The affected series has been sold as of 30.06.2013.

Alles van daarvoor is dus gewoon okay

Ik had er 2 van. Vrouwke bijna verongelukt...
En die op mijne zweette ook al wat olie

Reeds vorig jaar teruggestuurd en geld terug gekregen...
