Hello!

 

I am Austrian and I have a Vespa GTS 125.

Why only 125cc? I habe a B licence and we have a special rule that B licence holders can drive motorcycles up to 125cc. (a practical training is needed,  but without exam)

But is it allowed for belgian B licence holders to go to France?

 

As far as I know, it is allowed for foreign B licence holders to drive in Spain, in Italy and some other countries, but not in Belgium and not in the United Kindgdom.

there is a whole discussion going on this topic.

 

(my) conclusion is : B-driverse-licence holders driving a 125cc :

- you can not drive your own scooter outside Belgium

- you rent and drive a 125cc in Italy/Spain if the bike is licensed in that country.

 

France : not allowed, since you have to do practical training, same for Austria. 

 

But not everyone has the same opinion here in Belgium. You will see lots of 125cc-riders in Mantova next summer.
