Why are they racing against motorbikes?

Just to let them see how slow even tuned scooters are?

Its a sprint meeting. you race against your own best time. Racing against a dragster bike wwouldn't really work on a scooter would it?

I suppose this way they can at least get two bikes up the strip at the same time.

Basically a scooter that can acheive 89mph inside aquarter mile isn't that slow. Thats 0 to 150kpu in 400 meters.

I don't care how fast the bike was.
