Excellence Geplaatst: 22 maart 2007 Delen Geplaatst: 22 maart 2007 Niet te scheiden van onze filmpassie stelt ::Excellence nu ook z'n muzikale passie voor: zondag 8 April 2007 (inderdaad, de Maandag is een vrije dag!) in Tour & Taxi Brussel (in het kader van het Brussels Festival van de Fantastische film). Vanaf 22 uur twee concerten: The Secret Agent men, the crazy garage, soul, rock guys (Gent/BE) openen de avond. "Sometimes like a V8 at full throttle and other times like a fuckwit trying to play a trumpet..." Gevolgd door The Five Aces, the boogaloo, soul, mid-sixties rythm and blues investigators (Glasgow/Uk) "The band is amazing...terminally understated cool... with a vocal that packs a paralysing punch" - HammondBeat "They are one of the most soulful bands on the scene today. Ze had zich ook "Alice op hoge hakken jaagt witte konijnen in vinyl na in het land van Soul" maar dit was wat te lang. Gill Ewing, guitarist van Bad Preacher en dj, deze cowboy heeft slecht één wet: Rock'n Roll. Om de Excellence avond samen te vatten zou je kunnen zeggen dat John Waters en Iggy Pop samen besluiten een remake van Quadrophenia te maken … We verheugen ons er op jullie talrijk te mogen begroeten, De ganse ::Excellence ploeg.
