Vraagje aan onze elektronica-wizards. Kan volgende ontstekingskit worden gebruikt voor onze oude Vespa's zonder batterij?

Er is een PDF-gebruiksaanwijzing op de website:

http://www.velleman.be/Downloads/0/illustrated/Illustrated_assembly_manual_K2543.pdf

(voor 6V: "For use on a 6V system replace next parts :

R1 and R2 : 150 ohm / 1W

R3 : 68 ohm 1/4W

R5, R6 and R7 : 68 ohm / 1W")

Kost maar een 15 euro of zoiets!

Op een website vind ik volgende veelbelovende uitleg:

Electronic Ignition Module Kit

Electronic ignition systems have great advantages over the older mechanical breaker point ignition system. For many years now, car manufacturers have built electronic ignition systems into all modern automobiles.

This electronic ignition module kit is intended as an ignition system "upgrade" for older vehicles that utilize the antiquated breaker point and condenser ignition system. Installing this ignition module creates what is known as transistor assisted ignition. This will still make use of the contact breaker points from the original ignition system, but the electronic ignition module will produce faster switching speeds, and reduce arcing across the breaker point contacts. Reduced arcing means much less wear and tear on the contact points, less wasted ignition energy, and more power delivered to combustion chamber spark plugs where it's needed to ignite fuel.

Besides helping that old clunker run more like an expensive luxury car, electronic ignition will help the engine start easier and run smoother, particularly at very high and very low RPM. Additionally, the increased efficiency from using the electronic ignition module can help lower your fuel consumption, reduce pollution emissions, and lower your tune-up servicing costs. Drive economically, drive electronically. Only for gasoline engines. Only for cars with negative ground.

Electronic ignition module is an electronic kit. Assembly is required. Velleman rates this kit (fairly simple) at "skill level 2" on a scale from 1 to 5.

Kan dit waar zijn?
