LML Safety Recall

Subject: Front top suspension damper mounting nut may be loose, resulting in loss of control and possible accident.

In accordance with the Vehicle & Operator Services Agency (VOSA), Code of Practice we are recalling a range of LML Scooters which may have a loose front top suspension damper mounting nut.

We now believe that there are some LML Star Deluxe units, subject to the front damper mounting nut recall also sold by the previous distributor. Please find the Vin number ranges of affected units, and check your records of any units sold, and any still in stock. Please contact the owners of any affected sold units, and complete the recall.

A time of 30 minutes is allowed to dismantle as required and torque the nut correctly. ( see Please complete the work, and file a warranty claim to reclaim the 30 minutes labour, the warranty claim advises E P Barrus, and in turn VOSA that the recall has been completed. Please ensure the claim is clearly marked RECALL and includes the full 17 figure VIN number of the repaired unit.
