1. Who are we?

Vespaforum.be is an online forum for scooter enthusiasts, aimed at Dutch-speaking users from Belgium and the Netherlands. We attach great importance to the protection of your personal data and process it exclusively in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Which personal data do we process?

Depending on how you use the website, we may process the following personal data:

5. Use of Cloudflare Turnstile

This website uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a security service that helps distinguish human users from automated bots. Cloudflare Turnstile is used exclusively during the creation of new accounts (registration) and not when existing users log in. Cloudflare Turnstile analyzes technical data such as:

  • IP address
  • Browser and device characteristics
  • Technical signals necessary to detect abuse

This processing is necessary to protect the website against spam and automated account registrations and is based on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Cloudflare acts as a data processor. Data may be processed outside the European Union, with appropriate safeguards in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

Forum accounts and associated content remain stored as long as the account is active, unless you request deletion.

We do not sell or rent personal data.

Data may only be shared with:

  • Technical service providers (such as hosting and security providers)
  • Public authorities, where legally required
  • IPS Spam Defense Service: during registration, the email address and IP address of the registering member are transmitted to this service in order to assess whether the account may be a source of spam. This processing is necessary to prevent abuse and is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest.

  • Request restriction of processing
  • Object to processing
